A fresh political debate has emerged within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) after Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o publicly declared his support for the party’s current leadership direction, signaling a major endorsement of ongoing reforms ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Speaking during a large ODM rally in Kirembe, Kisumu County, the veteran politician urged party members to rally behind the leadership and focus on strengthening the party instead of engaging in internal disagreements that could weaken its position ahead of future political contests.
