Former Senior government adviser Moses Kuria has intensified political speculation surrounding Murang’a Governor Irungu Kang'ata after suggesting that the county boss could abandon the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party before the 2027 General Election.
Speaking publicly about the growing debate, Kuria claimed that Kang’ata has already shown signs of distancing himself from UDA, although he has not openly declared the political vehicle he intends to use in future elections.
According to Kuria, Kang’ata has been honest to some extent by expressing dissatisfaction within the ruling party, but he has allegedly avoided revealing his full political plans.
