"Show Us Your Development Record" Gov. Simba Arati Dares Fred Matiang'i to Prove His Words On Socio-economic Developments Agenda

Kisii governor Simba Arati has challenged former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi to show his development records since he was the cabinet secretary under the leadership of of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta for a period of ten years.

Arati has wondered how without development record, Matiangi can claim that he wants to compete against the head of state and government president William Ruto in the upcoming general elections in the country.

"Stop telling us stories. Show us what you have achieved. There is nothing that you have achieved in this country," the vocal governor said.

He added that its high time Matiangi rejoins the government so that the region can have a strong bargaining power under the leadership of the head of state and government president William Ruto a head of the much awaited August general elections.

He was speaking during the Nyota Capital Disbursement held at Gusii stadium, Kisii county attended by president William Ruto.
