Gachagua's Side Warned What's Coming on The Morning of August 10 2027 After Yesterday's Happenings

President William Ruto has warned the united opposition that the outcome of yesterday’s by-elections offers a preview of what they may face in the 2027 General Election.

His caution follows victories by his UDA party and ODM, which together swept all the parliamentary seats that were up for contest.

According to the President, the results reflect a strong message from Kenyans, who he says are increasingly disillusioned with the style of politics advanced by opposition leaders.

Ruto argued that the by-elections show voters have already decided the direction they want the country to take and are willing to reject the opposition as soon as polls open.

“Yesterday we had by-elections in seven areas, all of which were won by broad-based parties. Is that true or not?” he said in Nakuru County on Friday.

He added, “Now the people have given those guys a notice. If they do not change their ways, we will sink them early in the morning,” as quoted by The People Daily.

The ruling party registered wins in Malava, Mbeere North, Banissa, the Baringo Senate race and several ward seats, while ODM successfully retained its constituencies in Kasipul, Magarini and Ugunja.

These results came despite persistent pressure from opposition figures who continue to frame President Ruto as unpopular among citizens.

Opposition leaders, including DCP chief Rigathi Gachagua and Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, have vowed to field a single presidential candidate in 2027, positioning themselves for a major showdown against Ruto as he seeks a second term.
