Speaking during a media roundtable in Wajir County while on his tour of Northern Kenya, President Ruto said discussions surrounding Talanta Stadium demonstrate the growing impact of infrastructure projects being implemented under his administration.

According to the Head of State, the fact that political leaders are already associating the facility with future national events shows the significance of the project.

Ruto noted that his government has invested heavily in transformative projects across the country, including road networks, affordable housing developments, electricity expansion and sports infrastructure.

He described Talanta Stadium as one of the flagship projects intended to position Kenya as a leading destination for international sporting events.

The President maintained that development projects should not be viewed through a political lens but rather as investments that will benefit all Kenyans regardless of their political affiliations.

He argued that the country's progress should be celebrated collectively, adding that major infrastructure developments are laying the foundation for future economic growth and job creation.
