A fresh political controversy has erupted after Busia Woman Representative Catherine Omanyo made remarks about former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua that have triggered intense reactions across social media and political circles.

The outspoken legislator stirred debate after publicly sharing her views on Gachagua's political style, comments that many observers interpreted as a direct criticism of the former Deputy President's approach to national leadership and unity.

In remarks that quickly gained traction online, Omanyo stated that whenever Gachagua's name is mentioned, she associates it with division, discrimination, and political tensions. 

According to her, the former Deputy President's politics appear to focus on the interests of a single region rather than promoting a broader national agenda.

“Whenever Gachagua is mentioned, I see division, tears and discrimination because to him, only one region exists,” Omanyo reportedly said.
