Ndia MP George Kariuki Announces Stand Days After Waiguru Told Him to Join DCP in Peace

Ndia Member of Parliament George Kariuki alias GK has stated that he will firmly remain behind President William Ruto and the United Democratic Alliance Party at large.

Speaking during an event in Meru on Sunday which was attended by several Ruto Lieutenants including CS Geoffrey Ruku, Kariuki in what appeared as a direct reference to a latest war of words between him and Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru said that he will leave UDA only when Ruto himself asks him to quit.

In his own words and I quote, Kariuki said "Hatuwezi toka kwa Ile serikali tulitafuta. Ile serikali tulitia bidii, Ile serikali tulisweat. Hatuwezi toka kwa serikali kwa sababu hapo ndipo watu watasaidikia."

The message from George Kariuki of Ndia comes just a week after angry Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru accused the MP of trying to influence the outcome of the just-concluded UDA Party's grassroots polls.

Waiguru went on to dare Kariuki to declare who he was working for and offered him a free advise that leaders like him belong to the Wamunyoro camp.
