According to the outspoken lawmaker, the incident came to light during the Christmas period when she attempted to access funds she believed were safely stored in her M-PESA account. She said she had hosted guests and expected to rely on the mobile money balance, only to discover that the funds had already been withdrawn without her knowledge.
The unexplained depletion left her financially stranded at a time when household and seasonal obligations were pressing.
