Nuru Okanga On Wednesday, January, 28, attended a church service hosted by Pastor Kanyari, where he received a generous gift of Ksh 20K, from the pastor.

The amount was a fulfillment of a pledge previously made by Pastor Kanyari to support Okanga’s charitable initiatives.

During the service, Pastor Kanyari personally handed over the cash, noting that it was part of his commitment to contribute to children’s education through Okanga’s foundation.


I promised Hon. Nuru Maloba Okanga children’s books for his foundation, and I have fulfilled it. I have given him Ksh 20,000. May God protect you in everything you do.”

The gesture is part of ongoing efforts to support educational initiatives for children, emphasizing the importance of philanthropy and community support.

Okanga expressed gratitude to Pastor Kanyari for honoring his pledge and acknowledged the role such contributions play in improving access to educational resources for young learners.

The church service was attended by members of the community who witnessed the donation and celebrated the collaborative effort between religious leaders and civic figures in promoting social good.

Previously, Oscar Sudi gifted Okanga KSh 700,000 after pledging during an interview to change his life.

Okanga explained that he had channelled a significant portion of the funds towards helping young people in his community who were struggling with school-related challenges.

According to him, he spent around KSh 130,000 in total to help the group pay school fees.

He went further to support other students from humble backgrounds by buying uniforms and books, which cost him another KSh 50,000.
