Just Hours After Claims Ruto Stripped Kindiki of Key Role, DP Makes Unexpected Political Move

Just hours after claims that his powers had been reassigned, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki made a move that quickly changed the political conversation.

Many people were left talking as he chaired a high-level government meeting despite the growing speculation surrounding his role.

On Tuesday, July 28, Kindiki presided over discussions on the proposed Eastern Africa Oil Refinery project, bringing together senior government officials to deliberate on one of the region's major energy plans.

His appearance came only hours after reports circulated claiming that President William Ruto had transferred some of his key responsibilities to Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.

The reports spread rapidly across social media, triggering heated debate among Kenyans.

Supporters appeared divided, with some questioning whether the alleged changes signaled shifting political dynamics within the Kenya Kwanza administration, while others dismissed the claims as mere political rumors. TO READ MORE, CLICK HERE.
