Wetangula Predicts Danger, Allege What'll Happen To Gachagua, Mt Kenya If They Continue Defying Ruto

National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula has cautioned leaders against promoting ethnic-based politics, amid escalating political tensions involving former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and allies of President William Ruto.

Speaking during a public gathering in Imenti South, Wetang'ula, accompanied by National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah and several Members of Parliament, criticized what they described as attempts to advance tribal politics in national discourse.

Wetang'ula argued that Kenya's progress depends on unity and inclusive leadership rather than political mobilization based on ethnic identities.

He warned that allowing politics to revolve around individual communities could undermine national cohesion and development.

According to the Speaker, no single community can determine the future of the country on its own, and leaders should focus on policies and development issues rather than divisive rhetoric.

He urged politicians, particularly those from the Mt. Kenya region, to exercise caution in their public statements and avoid actions that could deepen political divisions.
