Speaking on social media, Wambugu said Raila has faced painful betrayals from close friends and political allies, yet he has never exposed their secrets or spoken ill of them.
According to Wambugu, this shows the true nature of Raila as a leader who values trust more than revenge.
“Despite being betrayed by people he trusted most, Raila has never gone public to shame or reveal private discussions. (Watch the video).He has always remained calm, focused, and respectful,” Wambugu wrote.
The former MP said that many politicians, when betrayed, often react with anger and expose personal details about their rivals.
However, Raila has chosen a different path — one guided by discipline and wisdom.
Wambugu added that Raila’s ability to forgive and move on has helped him build bridges even with former political enemies.
“In politics, today’s rival can become tomorrow’s partner. Raila understands this very well,” he said.
