Lonyangapuo to Gachagua: Ruto Might Be a 'Wantam' President, But You’ll Never Be Elected

Former West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo has thrown sharp words at former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, dismissing his chances of ever winning an election even as he prepares for a dramatic return to the country.

Speaking in Nairobi, Lonyangapuo said that while President William Ruto may face criticism under the “Wantam” tag, Gachagua’s political future is far from certain.

“You can say Ruto is a one-term president if you want, but let me be clear, Gachagua will never be elected to lead this country,” he said.

His comments came just hours before Gachagua’s scheduled arrival from the United States. The former DP has spent six weeks abroad, where he openly criticized the government and accused unnamed officials of undermining his leadership.GET FULL STORY HERE.
