“Ruto Will Win at 7:10am Even with 1% Votes” Ahmednasir Says as He Claims Support Has Dropped to 43%

Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has suggested that President William Ruto’s support in the Mt. Kenya region has fallen sharply since the 2022 General Election, dropping from 88% to about 43%.

In a statement shared after what he described as an extensive tour of Central Kenya, Ahmednasir said residents voiced frustrations over the economy, corruption, and concerns about the Judiciary.

He observed that Ruto enjoys relatively stronger backing in Kiambu and Laikipia, while Nyeri reflects his lowest ratings.

Despite this decline, Ahmednasir insisted that Ruto’s chances of re-election in 2027 remain strong.

“He will win at 7:10am even with 1% of Central Kenya votes, so long as Luo Nyanza and his traditional voter base remain intact. Central Kenya votes are very important but not determinant,” he said. GET FULL STORY.
