Abigael Mutubula, the mother, reported visiting the facility on Thursday, January 22, when pregnant, where they conducted tests on which the foetus was already dead in the womb three days later.
She alleged that even when she vomited blood as her health was failing, the doctors in the facility failed to provide her with the appropriate medical assistance.
"She has been coming here since Thursday, but no one is willing to help her. We have pleaded with them, but they keep sending her away," claimed Esther Neema, a family member.
According to citizen TV, Mutubula was denied entry to the maternity ward after she was locked out and nurses and the security guards at the gate confronted her and denied her entry to the hospital without considering her health.
She revealed that despite being given permission to sign a form in order to have a C-section, a doctor advised her against the CS. She was later induced.
After the intervention of the media, the Mutubula was finally taken to the hospital where the management assured that they were making necessary measures to handle her condition and give her the required treatment.
Nevertheless, in a move to mention the consequences of holding a dead child in the days, some of Kenyans have been giving mixed perceptions, as most have rejected allegations of negligence by doctors.
