According to reports, the deceased, identified as Stephen Musili, was pulled out of his house before being shot dead by armed suspects who also shot a chief.
Leah Vundi, his wife, revealed that the deceased had expressed his concern after allegedly being threatened by a parent.
Relatives revealed that the deceased had asked to be transferred from the school after the threat.
They accused the Teachers Service Commission of failing to listen to his plea.
Teachers in the area have called on the TSC to take action as soon as possible, stating that non-locals should not be sent to the area.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, who spoke about the incident, sent his condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.
