Gachagua, Muturi, Karua, Natembeya, Matiang'i Absent as Kalonzo and Wamalwa Attend This Event

Key United Opposition leaders have failed to show up in Kitui county during the burial services of the late Mama Dorcas Mutindi this afternoon an event only attended by the former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka and the DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa as key Opposition leaders.

Among the opposition leaders who failed to turn up include former Interior cabinet secretary who is also the Jubilee party presidential candidate Dr Fred Matiangi, Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya, Martha Karua, former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua among other key leaders.

This comes even as the united Opposition team claims to be united ahead of the polls where they are expected to reveal their presidential candidate to face off with the head of state and government president William Ruto in the coming August 2027 general elections in the country.

The team is also expected to reveal their their lineup where they are expected to divide themselves according to the face of the regions.
