Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu's reelection has continued to be discredited, with more institutions coming out to dismiss it.
The latest one has been the Tanzanian Council of Imams, which says it placed unofficial agents in polling centers to observe the process.
It's Secretary General, Sheikh Ponda Issa Ponda, has said that their findings confirm what continues to be reported about the whole process.
Sheikh Ponda has reported about alleged serious rigging through strategies that sought to ensure Tanzanians' votes don't count.
"The reports of the all observers are similar as they have witnessed serious incidents, among which are the suppression of voter rights, illegal elections, killings of innocent civilians," he said on Saturday.
He further condemned the killing of innocent demonstrators in the protests that broke out on the day of the election.
Ponda stated that the killings were wrong, and go against even the Islamic laws which President Samia believes in.
