Lawyer Donald B. Kipkorir has claimed that Kenya's politics has entered what he calls "Raila 6.0," arguing that politicians are once again building or destroying their careers by taking sides around a single political figure.
In his social media post, Kipkorir said that between 1992 and 2022, many leaders either praised or criticized Raila Odinga to win political support, depending on their region and community.
According to Kipkorir, the political landscape changed after Raila Odinga's death, leaving many politicians without a clear direction.
He wrote that "many were lost... They are running around like headless chicken!" suggesting that several leaders struggled to adjust after the end of Raila's long influence on national politics.
