List of Gachagua demands to Kalonzo before Backing him in 2027 with mt kenya votes

Fresh political claims have ignited intense debate after a document circulating online purportedly outlined a list of demands allegedly linked to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in exchange for delivering the vote-rich Mt. Kenya region to a coalition led by Kalonzo Musyoka.

The document, whose authenticity has not been independently verified, paints a picture of a high-stakes political negotiation in which key government positions, security appointments, parliamentary leadership, and regional political control are listed as part of a proposed power-sharing arrangement.

According to the claims, several cabinet positions are described as “non-negotiable,” including the powerful ministries of Finance, Energy, and Roads and Public Infrastructure. Other offices, such as the Attorney General and select security appointments, are reportedly listed as open for negotiation.

The alleged proposals extend beyond Cabinet, touching on some of the country’s most influential security institutions.

Among the positions reportedly sought are the Chief of Defence Forces or the Inspector General of Police, the Principal Secretary for Internal Security, and the Director General of the National Intelligence Service. The Director of Criminal Investigations is also mentioned as a negotiable position. GET FULL STORY HERE.
