ODM MP Caleb Amisi has launched a scathing attack on Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and his allies in the party's Linda Mwananchi faction, accusing them of lacking vision, objectivity, and a clear
understanding of the political road ahead to 2027.
Speaking bluntly, Amisi told off Sifuna and his counterparts using the now-trending Swahili phrase "Tusikuwe wajinga kwa siasa" — loosely translated as "let's not be fools in politics" — a clear jab suggesting the faction's approach is misguided and politically naive.
According to Amisi, Sifuna and his allies within the Linda Mwananchi camp have failed to grasp the bigger political picture, accusing them
of pursuing a confrontational strategy without a coherent plan or end goal as the country edges closer to the next General Election."Sifuna never understood their assignment ahead of 2027," Amisi charged, suggesting that the Linda
Mwananchi faction's rhetoric and posturing within ODM has been more about optics than substance, lacking the strategic depth needed to navigate Kenya's shifting political terrain.
