Speaking during a media briefing, Sifuna said the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) must remain strong and committed to Raila’s lifelong dream of a fair and united Kenya.
He warned that any divisions or power struggles would only weaken the movement that Raila dedicated his life to building.
“Let us not fall into the trap of division. When great leaders depart, their followers often scatter in confusion. We must not allow that to happen to ODM,” Sifuna said.
The senator reminded members that Raila built ODM on firm values of democracy, justice, and equality — principles he said should continue guiding the party.
He urged members to honour Raila’s memory by standing together and defending what he stood for.
“We now call upon the leadership and membership of the party to rally behind Baba’s dream and remain steadfast to the ideals that founded this movement,” Sifuna added.
