Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has firmly denied allegations that he is planning to overthrow President William Ruto through unconstitutional means, saying he will instead focus on removing the Head of State at the ballot in 2027.
Speaking on Sunday, Gachagua told Kenyans living abroad that he does not support any violent or illegal attempt to change leadership.
Instead, he insisted that real change will only come through a democratic vote on August 10, 2027.
“I am not interested in overthrowing Ruto. Nobody wants to overthrow the government through unconstitutional means. We want change through the ballot,” Gachagua stated while addressing a gathering in Seattle.
His remarks come just days after President Ruto warned of harsh action against leaders allegedly plotting to remove him from power through force. To Continue Reading The Story, Click Here.
