The research, conducted by Trends and Insights for Africa (TIFA) between August 23 and September 3, covered 2,024 adults across all 47 counties.
According to the results released on Friday, about 68% of respondents said they oppose Ruto’s 2027 re-election, while only 32% expressed support.
The poll also highlighted mixed opinions on the future of ODM leader Raila Odinga. Out of those interviewed, 32% believe Raila may eventually back Ruto, while 23% prefer him to stay in the opposition.
Another 17% want him to support a different opposition candidate, and 14% feel he should retire completely from politics.
