“Malala Knows Where Power Is” – Barasa Predicts Former UDA Boss Will Soon Return to Ruto Government

Fresh political speculation has emerged over the future of former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala after remarks by politician Barasa suggested that the opposition-aligned leader could soon make a return to government ranks...WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

Speaking during a political discussion, Barasa claimed that Malala's stay in the opposition may not last long, arguing that the former senator has built his political career by remaining close to the country's centers of power.

“Malala understands politics very well. He knows where influence is found, and I do not see him staying away from government for long,” Barasa said.

The remarks have sparked renewed debate about Malala's political direction, particularly at a time when alliances and loyalties are increasingly becoming subjects of national discussion ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Barasa further argued that the former United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary-General has historically aligned himself with political formations that offer him an opportunity to remain influential in national affairs.

“Throughout his political journey, Malala has always positioned himself near decision-making structures. That is why I believe his current opposition stance could be temporary,” he added.
