Speaking to supporters in Nyeri, Gachagua said he will lead Mt Kenya with integrity and stand against what he called attempts to divide the region.

“If Kenyans elect me as president, and if God allows, I will not make false promises,” Gachagua told the crowd.

He urged residents to remain firm and reject any incentives used to influence their vote, stressing that leadership should serve the people, not personal interests.
Gachagua also criticized President William Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, accusing them of trying to manipulate Mt Kenya voters through monetary handouts and political events.

He said the current leadership has failed to address corruption, insecurity, and other issues affecting citizens.
