Kenya’s influencer industry reached new financial heights in 2025 after top digital creators reportedly earned hundreds of millions through brand sponsorships, endorsements, and online partnerships.

The report highlights how social media influencing has evolved from a side hustle into a powerful business industry, with creators earning millions from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and ambassadorial deals.

Comedy, lifestyle content, music, fashion, and online entertainment remained among the most profitable niches for Kenyan creators.

Leading the list was comedian and activist Eric Omondi, who reportedly earned an estimated Ksh 57 million from partnerships with brands in 2025.

1. Eric Omondi – Ksh 57 Million

Eric Omondi once again proved why he remains one of Kenya’s biggest online personalities. Known for his viral comedy skits, activism campaigns, and massive social media following, Omondi secured the highest earnings among Kenyan influencers.

Instagram Emerged as the Most Profitable Platform

According to the report by OdipoDev, Instagram remained the most profitable platform for influencers in 2025.

The report noted that top creators on Instagram converted approximately 40.8 percent of their audience engagement into paid partnerships, making it the preferred platform for premium brand collaborations.

Interestingly, TikTok — despite generating huge numbers of views and viral content — was ranked the least profitable platform among Kenya’s top influencers.
