Ruto Dealt Another Blow as Popular Linda Ground Politician Makes This Unexpected Statement

Ledama Ole Kina has called for urgent reforms to the current Social Health Authority (SHA) insurance arrangement, saying the system is failing many Kenyans who depend on public healthcare services.

His remarks have added to the growing national debate over the challenges facing the new health insurance program.

Speaking on the issue, Olekina said the government must quickly review and correct weaknesses in the SHA system before more citizens suffer.

According to the senator, many patients are struggling to access treatment because hospitals are facing delays in payments and confusion over registration and approval processes.

The Narok senator argued that healthcare is a basic right and should not become a burden to ordinary families. He warned that if the problems continue, trust in the new insurance program could collapse completely.

Olekina also urged the Ministry of Health to listen to concerns raised by doctors, hospitals, and wananchi across the country.

Since the rollout of SHA, several hospitals and patients have complained about system failures, delayed services, and uncertainty over medical cover. Some patients have reportedly been forced to pay cash despite being registered under the scheme.

Olekina’s statement now increases pressure on the government to act fast and restore confidence in the health sector.

Many Kenyans are hoping for a smoother and more reliable system that guarantees affordable healthcare for all citizens without unnecessary delays or confusion.
