UDA Makes Last Minute Changes As It Postpones This Party Activity Set For Saturday 17th

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has postponed grassroots party elections in three wards, dealing a temporary setback to its local party organization efforts. The decision was communicated by the party’s National Elections Board on January 16, 2026, just a day before the planned voting exercise.

The affected elections were meant to choose Party Polling Centre officials in Evurore Ward and Muminji Ward in Embu County, as well as West Kabras Ward in Kakamega County. These polls had been scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026. However, party members in these areas will now have to wait longer to take part in the process.

UDA has not announced a new date for the postponed elections. According to the National Elections Board, the revised schedule will be communicated through official party channels once preparations are complete. Party members, aspirants, and officials have been advised to take note of the changes and await further guidance.
