Despite the fact that Fridah Mwaka has endlessly made it clear that she and Lofty Matambo are just good friends, many fans still speculate that there may be more than meets the eye when it comes to their relationship.
This was even seen when she recently took to her Facebook account and shared a photo of herself with Lofty Matambo, and then accompanied it with a caption of her wondering why Presenter Kai was talking about them.
This is because Presenter Kai had earlier taken to his Facebook account and made a post in which he also wondered whether Lofty Matambo and Fridah Mwaka were also in a relationship.
This however is something that has irked Fridah Mwaka, because she feels like it is just wrong for people to make such assumptions regarding her relationship with Lofty Matambo.
Taking to her Facebook account recently, the media personality reminded them that they do not have a right to do that.

Dragging names into hypothetical narratives an presenting them as facts is irresponsible! Professional chemistry is not deception, collaboration is not romance, and privacy is not dishonesty! Respectable marriages exist in media. Respectable single people exist in media without any obligation to explain or clarify their personal lives to the public..." Fridah Mwaka said in part. She added:
"Not every interaction between a man and a woman is romantic. Sometimes it is just work. Sometimes it is just conversation. Sometimes it is simply two professionals doing their jobs well.
