Chama Cha Kazi Party Leader Moses Kuria has regretted that Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi, Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino and Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi are likely to end 2026 as losers.

Without providing more details, Kuria wrote on his X handle late on Monday, and I quote: “Ever watched a football game where a team plays flawless football but cracks under pressure at some point due to inexperience and loses narrowly? That's how 2026 will turn out to be. I fear for the following players. I deeply love and cherish five out of the six of them.”

The message by Moses Kuria comes amid reports that President William Ruto has unleashed state machinery to weaken the opposition by buying off some luminaries to rejoin his broad-based government.
