A Nigerian woman, Keturah Stephen, has shared the remarkable story of how a lighthearted Facebook post she made in January led to a whirlwind romance and marriage within seven months.
According to Keturah, she jokingly wrote on Facebook on January 10, 2026: "My wedding date is supposed to be 16th May 2026. Is there a man willing to take the risk? Send me a DM, let's talk." While many people treated the post as a joke, one man took it seriously.
Joel Gojeh, who was living in Ghana at the time, came across the post despite not being Facebook friends with Keturah. The pair reportedly shared only two mutual friends, neither of whom they knew personally.
Keturah later revealed that Joel had just finished praying about finding a wife when her post appeared on his timeline. Inspired by what he believed was more than a coincidence, he sent her a direct message, and the two soon began communicating on WhatsApp.
Their relationship quickly developed, and on February 15, Joel travelled to Kaduna, Nigeria, to meet Keturah for the first time. Unknown to her, he had brought along an engagement ring, which he secretly left in her kitchen before proposing. The couple officially began their relationship the following day.
Keturah said she had long prayed that her courtship would not exceed six months before marriage. Joel reportedly agreed with that desire, and the couple moved forward with their plans. READ FULL STORY.
