Who’re You? Linda Mwananchi MP Tells Off Sifuna Over His Presidential Campaign Strategy

Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has slammed Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna over his 2027 presidential ambitions, questioning both his strategy and political viability.

Speaking on Thursday, without mentioning names, Amisi dismissed Sifuna’s approach of seeking campaign funds directly from Kenyans, arguing that it is unrealistic to expect the same people to both finance and vote for a candidate.

According to the legislator, mobilizing campaign resources and securing nationwide voter support simultaneously is a difficult.

Amisi’s remarks come at a time when Sifuna has intensified efforts to raise funds through a public Paybill number, a move that has sparked debate within political circles.
