MIGUNA ACCUSES RUTO OF TURNING NAIROBI POLICE INTO AN ETHNIC STRONGHOLD

Lawyer and political commentator Miguna Miguna has launched a blistering attack on President William Ruto, alleging that the deployment of OCSs in Nairobi is heavily skewed along ethnic lines.

In a strongly worded statement, Miguna questioned what he described as the overwhelming presence of Kalenjin officers heading police stations in the capital.

"Why are 99.99% of all OCSs in Nairobi Kalenjins? What are you planning with them? This is unacceptable!" he stated.

Miguna argued that appointments within the National Police Service should reflect fairness, merit, and Kenya's constitutional principles of inclusivity, warning that perceptions of ethnic favoritism in key security positions could undermine public confidence in the police.
