Armed men disembarked from the Prados and started firing teargas canisters at the truck. The truck driver fled towards Gilgil under hot pursuit from the 3 vehicles. 

One of the Prados lost control and rolled somewhere between Karunga and Chokereria... The DCP truck got stuck at Pembroke Bridge. 

The crew of MCs, DJ and dancers disembarked from the truck and fled on foot under heavy gunfire. The thugs set the truck on fire. 

The truck driver was taken by the thugs. This and everything witnessed in this By Election l in totality captures a worrying precedence of infiltration in what should be a democratic exercise for the people by the people.
