The screenshot was shared on Facebook by popular blogger Linda Ikeji on July 12. Although the identities of the two people were not revealed, the messages quickly spread across different platforms.
According to the leaked chat, the conversation started shortly after midnight when the woman told the man she could not sleep because she was thinking about him. The man replied by calling her "my queen" and said he was also awake.
The two continued exchanging romantic messages, telling each other that they missed one another. The woman even referred to the man as the love of her life.
