The heartbreaking incident, which happened in western Kenya, has left villagers shocked and confused, with many struggling to understand how joy and luxury eventually ended in tears.
According to relatives, the woman had years earlier walked away from a humble relationship after falling in love with a rich older man who promised her a comfortable life, expensive gifts, and financial security.
Her aunt narrated that although the family initially warned her against abandoning the man who genuinely loved her, she insisted that she deserved a “better life” and wanted to enjoy wealth while still young.
