Jubilee presidential candidate Fred Matiang’i has launched a scathing attack on President William Ruto, accusing his administration of rolling back key gains made under former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking on Monday, Matiang’i declared that Ruto must be voted out in 2027, insisting the country cannot withstand another five years of Kenya Kwanza leadership.
“Our country cannot afford another term for a regime that is deliberately eroding development gains made by previous governments,” Matiang’i said.
The former Interior CS singled out education, accusing the Ruto administration of plotting to hike school fees, a move he said would overburden parents and undo reforms achieved during Uhuru’s tenure.
