The MP who was the mover of Gachagua's impeachment motion months ago, began by revealing that he feels vindicated after High Court of Kenya dismissed Gachagua's petition that was challenging the legality and constitutionality of his impeachment.

However, Mutuse raised a questioned over whether the case should just end there. He argued that an impeached person is like convicted person who has been found guilty after trial.

Hence, he wondered whether Gachagua should be allowed to continue participating in political activities before proposing how the former Deputy President should be sentenced after Court upheld his impeachment.

In summary, Mutuse proposed that Rigathi Gachagua should be barred from active public life. That is an impeached person should not be allowed to engage in political activities such as running a political party or even taking part in campaigns.
