Kaluma Predicts Landslide for Ruto in 2027, Says President Could Secure More Than 90% of the Vote

Homa Bay Town Member of Parliament Peter Kaluma has sparked political debate after making one of the boldest election predictions yet ahead of the 2027 General Election, claiming that President William Ruto could secure more than 90 percent of the national vote.

The outspoken legislator, who serves under the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) but has recently expressed support for several government initiatives under the broad-based arrangement, made the remarks through his social media platforms while sharing footage from the inspection of the Garissa–Ijara Road project.

According to Kaluma, the current administration's development record has transformed political perceptions in many parts of the country, particularly in regions that have historically complained of marginalization and inadequate infrastructure.
