A Kenyan passenger is being praised online after a dramatic incident in which he reportedly helped prevent a serious road accident by intervening when a matatu driver allegedly attempted to steer into oncoming traffic.(Watch video).

The incident, which has since gone viral on social media, was captured in a video shared through an Instagram reel. (Watch video).In the clip, the passenger, identified as Amoka K Amoka, recounts how he reacted after noticing unusual behavior from the driver of an MTN Transport Sacco matatu.

According to Amoka, the driver suddenly veered toward approaching vehicles while more than 14 passengers were on board. (Watch video).Fearing the worst, he says he reached for the steering wheel and pulled it away from the path of danger.
