"He Needs To Rest" ODM Member Advices Ida Odinga to Do The Following For Those Misusing Raila's Name

Philip Etale has urged Ida Odinga to stop politicians from using the name of the late Raila Odinga for political gain, saying the former prime minister should be allowed to rest in peace.

The ODM communications director expressed frustration over the continued invocation of Raila’s name in political debates months after his death, arguing that many leaders are exploiting his legacy to advance their own careers.

Etale noted that some politicians benefited from Raila’s influence during his lifetime but failed to make sacrifices that would help him achieve his political ambitions. 

According to him, the continued use of Raila’s name in political contests and public arguments is watering down the legacy he left behind.
