Former MP Ngunjiri Reacts as Rigathi Says he Made Ruto President by Mobilizing 4 Million Supporters

Former Nyeri Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has weighed in on remarks made by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who vowed to make His Excellency President William Ruto a “one-term” president.

Speaking during a recent political forum, Gachagua affirmed that he played a key role in mobilizing residents of the Mount Kenya region to support Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

He suggested that without that backing, Ruto would not have secured the top seat, and hinted that the same base could shift direction ahead of the next general election.
