Former nominated senator Millicent Omanga has opened up about the reasons behind her political fallout with President William Ruto, accusing the head of state of failing to honor several commitments made to women ahead of the 2022 General Election.
Speaking on Saturday, March 28, Omanga said her disagreement with the president stemmed from what she described as betrayal of promises that were made to women leaders and voters during the campaign period.
