Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has accused the government of presiding over what he termed as a worrying rise in extrajudicial killings and corruption, warning that the situation threatens the country’s democratic values and rule of law.

In a statement shared on his official social media platforms on Saturday, March 28, the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader said Kenya is facing serious governance challenges, including alleged misuse of public resources and growing insecurity.

According to Gachagua, the country is experiencing “unprecedented levels” of corruption, mismanagement of resources and unlawful killings, which he claimed are being carried out under the watch of the current administration.continue reading...............
