Kibagendi Explodes: Ruto Plotting to 'Finish' Dissenting MPs, Claims Parliament Now Under Siege

Kitutu Chache South MP Anthony Kibagendi has launched a scathing attack on President William Ruto, accusing him of using state machinery to suppress dissenting voices.

Speaking during a public address, the youthful legislator claimed the Head of State has vowed to politically crush leaders who refuse to align themselves with his administration.

Kibagendi said Ruto has allegedly turned Parliament into his personal playground, where independent-minded legislators are intimidated and silenced.

He described the current Parliament as a “captured institution,” asserting that its members no longer act in the best interest of Kenyans but rather to please the President.

“The biggest problem in this country is President William Ruto,” Kibagendi declared passionately to the crowd.

He alleged that Ruto’s growing influence has crippled checks and balances, weakening democracy and transparency within the government.

According to the MP, the President’s goal is to ensure that those who do not politically support him are punished during elections.

“He has sworn to make sure that we, who have refused to bow to him, will not be re-elected,” Kibagendi lamented.

The MP said such political intimidation goes against the principles of freedom and democracy that Kenyans fought for.

He further challenged Ruto’s administration to focus on governance and service delivery instead of political persecution.

Kibagendi warned that if the situation persists, the country risks descending into a one-party-like system where dissent is not tolerated.

His remarks have sparked intense debate across the political divide, with some praising his courage while others accusing him of playing victim politics ahead of 2027.
